StreetSmart South Africa wins major ecotourism award

Cape Town-based StreetSmart South Africa won the 9th annual Skål International Ecotourism Awards in the “City and Villages” category. StreetSmart is a conduit fundraising initiative that contributes directly towards enabling street children to live a viable life in society. The organisation raises money via participating restaurants, and distributes this money directly to established organisations with the experience and facilities to help children who are living on the streets.
